DocRep™ Report Upload

The internet has revolutionized the real estate industry, making it easier for customers and
service providers to find one another and communicate.  Many home inspectors are turning to the web as a delivery mechanism for their home inspection reports.

While some web sites offer report upload features on a pay-per-use basis, we decided it would be better to simply offer this as a feature you can add to your web site and use as often as you like.  Over the course of a year, this can save you hundreds of dollars over the cost of the pay-per-use plans, even if you only upload a couple of reports per week.

Our Document Repository (DocRep™) lets you upload documents for your customers to access online, using our easy-to-use and intuitive user interface. Each document has its own unique document and passcode combination, so that only the people who you want to have access to it will be able to view it online.  DocRep automatically notifies your clients via email when their report is available online, with specific instructions on how to access it.

It's easy to use:

  1. select the file you want to upload
  2. add a subject for your email
  3. add in your own message which will be sent to your client
  4. enter the addresses you want to send the link to
  5. press submit

Within minutes, your client will receive an email with your personal message and a link to their report. They simply click on the link, enter their passcode and will then have the option to either Open or Save the File to their computer. It's that easy.

The fine print

DocRep is intended for use as a report delivery mechanism and will only allow files of the following types: PDF, DOC, XLS, JPG, GIF, ZIP.  DocRep will accept files up to 2MB in size (the average PDF is less than 30K).  DocRep is not intended for permanent storage of your inspection reports and other files.  DocRep files are maintained and backed up on our servers for a period of 60 days.  Files older than 60 days may be deleted to make room for other files.
